The Gospel The gospel is the good news of our salvation in Jesus Christ. Every person has a problem with sin. Born in sin, we are all separated from God. However, God, who made all things in heaven and earth, loves His creation and sent His Son to reconcile us to God. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, did this by living the perfect life we are unable to live, dying as the perfect sacrifice on the cross, and then rising from the grave three days later, thereby conquering the power of sin and death over us. Jesus, the Son of God, now sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven, interceding on behalf of those who place their trust in Him.
Jesus promises eternal life for those who place their trust in Him (John 10:27-29), where even the grave doesn't have the final say over you (1 Cor 15:50-57). Jesus is offered to you. In Him, you will find forgiveness for your sins. And in Him, you will find eternal life. Have you placed your trust in Jesus Christ?
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him may have eternal life.
Romans 8:1 - There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Colossians 1:19-20 - For in Christ Jesus all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of the cross.
The Bible The Bible is the infallible Word of God and is the rule of faith and life.
